Carburetor float bowl update!

The float has these two hinged weights that sit on its edge as the level drops - the opposite end rises and lifts the needle from its seat and the level is maintained. These parts are cut using an electrical discharge machine EDM or wire eroder (video shows the cut).

Was Doble building every part from scratch for these cars? No wonder they only made a couple dozen cars.

@alsancle yes pretty much in the model E era he did. He had a few suppliers, for example North Eastern ? for electric motors etc and a company for the turbine internals but made pretty much everything else

@Chris I recall from a Jay Leno video that the turbine company is still in business and located in Worcester Massachusetts which I live near.
